Thank you Daniele for a wonderful lunch at Ristorante Boutique La Vetreria. As starter we got fresh baked focaccia from the house. For main course we had an amazing 1.35 kg Fiorentina T-Bone Steak with potato and grilled vegetables. We will come back at our next visit in Florence!

We are here our last evening, and the restaurant did not disappoint! The fresh pasta was delicious, and the pesto sauce was equally good. The steak cooked over the open flame had a wonderful flavor, and the staff made us feel welcomed. If your visiting the Duomo, this is just a few steps off the plaza.

I don’t think the pictures of this restaurant do it justice. It’s very beautifully done. Understated and with simple elegance. The food was amazing. Absolutely delicious. We only had pasta and dessert because we were looking for a smaller meal but the steak looked amazing.

Marco and the staff was spectacular. We had the duck ragu, the gnocchi pesto and the pizza margarita. This was one of the best meals we have had in Florence and also one of the best pizzas we have had in Italy. 5 stars. Highly recommend. We always eat here when we are in Florence.

So this is how it happened… I was wandering around around 11:30 a.m., thinking I’d just grab a light breakfast. Then I caught the most amazing aroma coming from Veteria Ristorante — how could I possibly resist? I decided to sit down, welcomed by the attentive service of Daniel, my server. I ordered pasta, sipped on an Americano, and enjoyed a bit of relaxing time. It’s an open-kitchen setup, so I watched Chef Evan at work and even walked over for a quick chat. You can really see how much care and attention they put into every detail. My pasta was being made right in front of me! And the result? Absolutely delicious. (See the photo!) No wonder it’s rated #1 on TripAdvisor for lunch — what a lucky bird I am to have stumbled upon it today! This truly made my day — an excellent homemade-style Italian pasta, crafted with such skill and passion. Bravo, Chef Evan!

I stumbled on this restaurant early in the evening while walking the town near the Duomo. I was looking for a place that offered carpaccio and this place did not disappoint me on any level. I ordered the beef yet they also had shrimp and Wague options. I also ordered the spinach which was perfectly cooked. Daniel was my server and he was attentive and spoke impeccable English. The atmosphere is top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
